Every June, something shifts.
The days get longer. The routines loosen. The kids come home and suddenly your home is being lived in completely differently than it was even a few weeks ago. The entryway that worked fine in September can’t handle sandy shoes and swim bags. The pantry that was totally manageable in winter is getting raided three times a day. The closet that was under control is now a disaster zone because summer clothes are in the mix and nothing has a place.
It’s not you. It’s not that you’re disorganized. It’s that your home hasn’t been set up for the way your life actually runs right now. And nobody ever told you that was a thing you were supposed to do.
Well. Consider this me telling you.
Your home needs a seasonal reset, here’s why
I noticed this pattern years ago and started doing a small reset every season to get ahead of it. Not a full overhaul. Not a “clear everything out and start from scratch” weekend that takes all of your energy and leaves half your house in piles. Just small, intentional shifts that set the space up to actually support the season ahead.
Because here is the truth about organized homes that nobody talks about: they are not organized once and then done forever. They shift with the seasons, with the people living in them, with the rhythms of real life. A home that works beautifully in January needs a reset in June. That is not a failure. That is just how homes work.
The people whose homes feel effortless are not naturally tidy people with unlimited time. They are people who have systems simple enough to reset quickly when life gets full. And that is exactly what we are going to build together this June.
Introducing the Summer Reset Challenge
This is four weeks of small, guided, intentional effort and by July 1st, your home will feel lighter, more functional, and genuinely ready for whatever summer brings.
Here is how it works. Every morning in June, a daily prompt lands in my close friends stories on Instagram. Short, specific, and telling you exactly what to tackle in that space that day. No guessing. No staring at a pile wondering where to begin. Just: here is your task, go.
Every Sunday, a weekly email lands in your inbox laying out the full week ahead: what we are focusing on, why it matters, and what you will have by Friday.
The four weeks break down like this:
Week 1 we declutter. We move through your main spaces and make confident decisions about what actually deserves to stay. If it does not serve your summer, it does not need to take up space in it.
Week 2 we plan. This is the step most people skip and then wonder why their organizing never sticks. We map your spaces based on how you actually want to live this summer and not how a magazine says you should, but how you really do.
Week 3 we set everything up. Zones get created, systems go in, and your home starts working for you instead of against you. (This is my favourite week. Watching a space go from “ugh” to “oh, I love this” never gets old.)
Week 4 we build the habits that keep it all going. A 10-minute evening tidy. A weekly reset that takes 20 minutes and keeps everything from spiralling. Simple routines that fit into your actual life. Even the full, messy, beautiful summer version of it.
You don’t need a free weekend or a Container Store budget
I want to be really clear about this because I know it is the thing that makes people hesitate. You do not need to set aside a whole Saturday. You do not need to go buy a bunch of matching bins. You do not need to have it all figured out before you start.
You just need to show up for the daily prompts and do the thing. That is it. The whole challenge is designed around real life, the kind where the kids are home and the days are full and you maybe have 20 minutes if you are lucky.
Small, intentional steps add up to something that genuinely changes how your home feels. I have seen it happen over and over again, and I cannot wait to watch it happen for you this summer.
Join us — it’s $47 and it starts June 1st
